Details

A traditional wok in carbon steel with a flat base that sits steadily on gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs. Thin steel heats quickly and responds fast when you turn the heat up or down.

It arrives bare and needs washing, drying and seasoning with oil before first use; after that it gets darker and more non-stick with every meal. Hand wash, dry well and oil lightly after use.

    After seasoning it as described it cooks beautifully. Heats up very fast on my gas hob and the wooden handle stays cool.

    Nice, thin and light for its size. It needs the seasoning and some patience, the first meal stuck a bit. By the third it was fine. The helper handle is useful for moving it around.

    Real carbon steel, not coated. I washed it, dried it and oiled it and now it is turning dark like a proper one. Good stir-fry at home.
